mission statement

The West Yellowstone Tourism Business Improvement District (TBID) supports projects aimed at tourism development, marketing, advertising, and promotion to benefit West Yellowstone. The Tourism Development Fund may support projects focused on, but not limited to, convention, education, conference, recreational, entertainment and other types of destination events, along with capital improvement, that will generate room nights for lodging facilities large and small.

Dear Valued TBID Member,

How quickly 10 years has gone! Just a few short years ago, the West Yellowstone Tourism Business Improvement District was formed and, since then, has enjoyed growing success. As we look at renewing our commitment to the West Yellowstone TBID, it’s important to recognize and review the efforts we’ve taken to promote West Yellowstone as a destination through your dollars and our marketing initiatives. This collaboration is proving to be a powerful force in recruiting visitors to our area and in competing with and surpassing our competition.

Please join us in reviewing and enjoying the piece in front of you as we highlight some of the strategies and campaigns of the last few years.  All of this has been possible because of TBID member funds and the efforts of our stakeholders, board, and staff.  As we approach our 2019 renewal deadline, your continued support is crucial to the seamless success and operation of the West Yellowstone TBID.  We request your signature on the attached petition to allow us to continue the tremendous momentum we have built in promoting West Yellowstone as a premier community and destination.

Sincerely,

Jeff Schoenhard

Marketing is the heart of the West Yellowstone TBID organization. It is the reason the TBID was created and the motivation for why a volunteer group of lodging property owners and managers is dedicated to its success. The TBID has the ability to promote West Yellowstone as a destination to wider geographies and demographics than individual properties.
